What happens if the patient after being transported home states he/she is not well enough to care for themselves?

The Escort will ask the patient if the Escort can call 911 on the patients behalf. The Escort will also ask if the Escort can call a family member or friend to care for them. Our Escorts will not mandate the patient to call 911 or to call a family member or friend. If the patient ask the escort to leave, the escort will depart without making any notifications.

When does billable time start?

Billable time starts after our escort arrives at the address you designated to meet the escort. However, travel time may be added for clients who need to be picked up outside of the five boroughs or if the final drop off is outside of the five boroughs, call for details.
